Transcendence
I see them,
The Lights.
They stand there,
In the distance,
Those swirling,
Twirling
Colors
They float around me,
Those blinding,
Gliding
Colors
I reach a hand out,
To touch
Them,
But,
They disappear,
Whispers
More and more
Take their place
Filling the distance,
Persistence
My hands
Frantic, flashing, flapping
The wings,
I hear them,
In the distance,
I reach out
Through the cacophony,
Symphony
My eyes search,
Reaching for the sky,
But all I can see,
All I can reach,
Is the Light.
Bright
Those colors climb,
Higher and higher
Until,
It reaches,
Up over my head,
A bed
No longer
Fighting, pushing, pulling
But,
Flowing,
To a steady beat,
Neat
A thruming rhythm
It steadies me,
It calms me,
It focuses me,
And I allow my hands to slip
The sound of silence,
Falling silence,
Echos through
The Colorfully, Transparent world
