After Love
Her tears mixed with ink on the page,
their love wouldn’t last ‘till old age.
His ink on his skin reminded him of her,
their sadness in a spiral — everything a blur.
Her photos of them now torn to bits,
their anger coming back in fits.
His fury mixed with his shame,
their outrage pushed on to no aim.
