If you were Picasso’s painting
I would be inclined
To steal you
From your display
So only I could see you
Or destroy you
So no one else
Could admire you
Or burn the counterfeits
Because I knew
No one could
Replace you
But in the end
I would be okay
With looking
at your beauty
From afar
Just like the rest of them
Are succumbed to do
Because that’s
The only way
I’ll ever be close
To you
