What It Takes to Soar
The engine begins to roar,
The pressure is adjusted,
the tank is filled with fuel.
The aircraft slowly rolls down the runway,
Balancing the aerodynamic wings for an efficient usage of thust.
Engine power is increased until rapid acceleration pushes the plane forward and helps it gain speed.
The wheel retracts and the plane begins to tilt forward in lift off position.
At last,
The extra boost forces the plane to become airborne,
Driving it forward,
Towards its destination.
So flying is not magic as it is deemed,
But the determination of people who made it more than the fantasy it seemed.
