Merry Go round
Merry go round
We go round and round on this planet
Our sun turn around our earth
Our moon turns around our planet
The children turn on the merry go round we
They sing and play
The slow creaking off the old metal frame
The metal of our hearts, Slow and cold
Sometimes I sit on my bed and think about earth and the stars
that seems to be rotating around me
They are not they are constantly chasing each other
Looking for constant love and affection
Like the child on the merry go round
The whole world spinning by them
Grown-ups teaching them to be like every other person
A boring and dull life lead 9 to 5
In a boring stagnant office building with the occasional cake party
Where everybody pretends like they are happy
Like a small child at a tea party drinking water
Which is shallow in their cup like what they will grow up to be.
They will churn inside but not lay in the grass feeling the universe turn
Feeling every imperfection of the balance of life
