The Hummingbird Connoisseur
The hummingbird indulges on its favorite,
too sweet, now too much water.
From one station to another,
the sweet sips of the sugar water.
A quick sip, a thought, a sip, now move on,
a connoisseur of the glucose injected liquid.
She swirls it around, carefully critiquing,
finally, she finds something worth tasting.
She bops from one flower to another.
With the swiftness of a light breeze,
She navigates the garden with ease.
Thousands of flavors tingle her sensations.
