To a lost love
December 23, 2017
It began with a simple smile,
it would only take a little while.
remembering her laugh in my dreams,
like only just yesterday it seems.
now I stand here troubled,
I know your life should have been doubled.
I have only a flower to memorialize you,
and a promise that will always stay true “I love you.”
