Development of the Streets
When I was little girl, the Old Streets of Milwaukee never ended.
The streets, a place I wanted to be a place that made my worries go away.
Street used to be filled with what I want, but now it’s the end.
When I was a little girl, I heard the sound of footsteps, chattering, and trains.
The streets used to be filled with love, laughter, and happiness.
They are now filled with dishonesty, silence, and hopelessness.
When I was little girl, the Old Streets of Milwaukee never ended.
But now it’s the end.
These streets are as short as a life.
The chatter dwindled.
Hands only reach out in despair, trust has disappeared, and
When I was a little girl, the Old Streets of Milwaukee never ended.
But not it’s the end. I can not hear what I used to.
The footsteps slowly fading and people switched to cars.
The population diminished until not a single soul lived in here.
People have died off or moved to a more popular place. Anything but here.
