A twisted waltz of horror
My poor heart palpitates
Positively petrified
Where are the bright
Colors I associate average
Animated children’s movies with?
Dead children, chained
To my traumatized brain
Hollow horrors whisper
Frightened fragments
While
Grotesque mothers
Morph into monsters
