She started off a girl untamed,
a girl unnamed.
The world passed her by.
She soared too high for them to comprehend.
They wouldn't learn to bend their ways,
and it drove her mad, it drove her sad, the way their eyes had gone numb.
She would not succumb,
and the world passed her by.
The world passed her by.
