Dear Mr. Trump
Dear Mr. Trump,
It’s supposed to be your job to stop the cries of hate
They’re still crying
It’s supposed to be your job to put out the hellish flames
They’re still burning
It’s supposed to be your job to calm the raging storms
They’re still raging
It’s supposed to be your job to knock down the wall of hate
Yet instead,
You’re building it

I wrote this poem to express my point of view on today's issues. I think it's important for teens to feel comfortable sharing their voice and I feel strongly about making mine heard. I encourage anyone to speak up for what's right and hope this poem helps others share their own voices!
