Seasons Of Love
Loving him is like feeling the first warm gust of wind in the spring.
The smell of flowers blossoming after being absent for months.
Like those warm, spring showers that take you by surprise,
but feel comforting knowing summer trails behind.
Loving him tastes like the first strawberry of summer.
The warm water touching your skin as you jump in the lake.
Like seeing the sun set ,
and wishing it never ended.
Loving him is the sound of leaves crunching under your feet.
The colors of the changing leaves falling from above.
It’s like the smell of the fall candles in my room,
and the warmth of the fire.
Loving him is feeling the first snowfall of winter.
The smell of cookies being baked as you wake up.
Like the excitement you get from opening your presents Christmas morning,
and waiting for it all to repeat next year.
