Landscape Ride
Ascending towards the sky,
at a level too sharp for my roving eyes.
The lands whirl past me;
the greens of the trees,
and the shine of the lakes.
They appeal a renewed strength,
when the memories experienced down below,
are recreated from far above.
The steady humming of this temporary world,
hardly to be remembered.
A moment, or perhaps less,
when the sky lacked dimension
and the fears, unseen.
It must have been a dream.
