The Cliff Swallow MAG
I am a cliff swallow
Flying over the endless sea
Carrying nothing in my beak
But a branch of a willow tree
So when I grow weary
And my wings no longer flap
I may rest the branch
on the widespread ocean
And only there will I take a short nap
Only to wake
Feeling refreshed
To continue flying
And finish my long quest
Until tomorrow comes
My wings they ache
No land in sight
Give or take
I will fly
Until I see the land
There I may see the Lord
And forever take his hand
