My shoes
New to this cruel cruel world, always being stepped on, day in and day out. Crushed against, all that life has to offer, yet they support my weight, the heavy, heavy weight that rests on my shoulders. They were once bright and new looking, but now after just a month, of endless beating the once clean white sides of the sole are now tainted with dirt, mud, grass, and water. They can never be the same they have gone through too much. The body a red toe and black heel are both darker, having seen the good and the cold and the colder, they have been lost and found, but they are ready to take on and conquer the world.
