Can you See me?
Can you see me?
I was only five when you left me.
I couldn’t understand when they told me.
Can you see me?
I see Mom cry sometimes,
I know she misses you every day.
Can you see me?
I can’t help but wonder where you are.
I wonder what you were like.
Can you see me?
I don’t ask mom about you.
I know it would hurt her too much.
Can you see me?
I hope you are proud of the person I am.
I think of you often and wish you were here.
Can you see me?
I believe that I will see you one day.
I love you, Grandpa.
