Upon a Beanstalk
Once upon a time, Girl lives
In a small village, at the edge of the kingdom,
Wealthy kings and queens rule over the land,
Peace dominate the world.
Once upon a time, Girl notices something strange.
Green as an emerald, a large plant climbs
UP and UP into the clouds.
T i t d and swirling

Vines curling and h a n g

Leaves clinging on, blowing in the soft gentle wind.
Curiosity gets the better of Girl.
Holding the plant with tiny hands
She steps up

Until she reaches the
Through the misty clouds
Girl steps on them.
She hears in the distance thumping.
GIGANTIC feet surround Girl,

For she has just visited the strange world
Where tall people live in the clouds
High above her and the small village
At the edge of a kingdom
Once upon a time.

I wrote this poem to spread a little creativity to everyone reading this. I thought a classic and old story would spark the child-like imagination.
