Window
I watch from my window as snow falls from the sky,
coating the ground with a layer of white.
The leafless trees stand still,
as a breeze passes through the branches.
White clouds float through the grey sky.
I consider playing in the snow
as I watch it pile up on the ground.
Ice covers the driveway,
creating a shiny surface.
An icicle hangs from the gutter,
water dripping off the tip.
I decide to stay inside where it is warm
and I observe the peaceful winter day instead.
