It never ends

The summer before
My senior year
I came out
To my family
And friends.
And I thought I was done
With needing to come out.
But college came,
And I knew almost nobody.
Nobody knew
The things that I knew,
And I had to come out
Of the dark, damp, dusty closet
Yet again and again.
And it never ends.
