Midnight Mind
I try to wipe
the darkness
from beneath
my eyes.
The sorrow
they mourn
my Eyes
for the melted hours
Churning away
as I flip
to imprint the page
beneath my pen
But my Mind
cowers
clambers
for the dark
peace.
Yet I try to
push this away
Sleep
to a corner
Sleep will
not keep
away
thoughts
Of the
inadequate
me
my Mind
My Mind
is not
This page
These words
Though I
desperately try
to imprint
it
Mix thought
with bleeding ink
to keep them
hidden away
The Dark Spots
They who gray
as the night
darkens
coiling around mind
Trying in desperation
to protect it's depths
from grave
injustice.
