sometimes it's just better to forget

An elephant never forgets
But
If it does
Perhaps your aardvark knows the answer
And
If that falls through
Flamingos are good at finding the facts
Although
I can’t help but feel
That
All of these precautions are
A tad unnecessary
because
No matter how big your umbrella,
It will never quite manage
To shield you from all of the
Pain
Life flings down from the sky
Like
Discarded Snickers wrappers
But don’t you cry
Sometimes it’s just better to forget
