Fickle Woman
I cannot walk with you as you drift
wandering
with loveless feet.
I am alone in a vast ocean
yes alone,
but you are content with floating anywhere
and I am posted within a desert,
but you are a tumbleweed dispersing seeds;
you did this horrible thing to me--
I am alone without you laying next to me.
You wandered to foreigners
you mixed yourself in another's garden
you tasted their fruit,
but you never questioned yourself
as I questioned you;
You have planted your roots elsewhere
and
I do not doubt,
that soon you will pluck them up
and travel again.
