True Freedom
We the people
Are supposed to be free
To have unalienable rights
The right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness
But since when those who are different from us excluded?
Those who love the same sex
Those who believe they are not one gender, but another
They are people, like you and me
Why do we punish them?
Throw harsh words upon their ears to hear
For that is not the tue meaning of equality
As equality means that we are all free
But we choose to bind those who are challenged with uniqueness
Those who are not free from the high powers of society
But I wish to set them free
For they are the people
The people for me
