The Journey
I’m not angry
just confused.
She was healthy,
nevering catching an illness
she couldn’t handle.
Hearing the
news of
potential cancer
didn’t shake my world;
they would get it out,
they’re doctors
they know what they’re doing.
Okay, there we go.
Nothing to worry about now.
But then there were
continuous
toxic cells arriving
beginning to
squirm in her system as if her
composition
was a waterpark for the
disease.
Chemo was the
next solution, but it was unbearably
useless.
All that was
left was to dread what was
imminent.
The day arrived and
part of me was
burnt in the
ashes with
her as she was
officially eliminated from
Earth.
