Starving - A Child's Perspective
Starvation is a slow death,
Being so hungry is worse than torture,
Its worse than grief,
Its worse than sadness,
And it’s even worse
Than death itself
In the desert,
My family,
Keeps walking,
Trying to find,
Food,
And
Water,
But we cannot find
Anything.
We walk more and more and more,
Still no food.
I am so hungry
My brother drops
He won't wake up,
We scream and scream,
Giving him water,
Anything,
But there is no point,
He is already dead
We have to move on,
This always happens,
Its never ending to see
Your family die,
We keep on walking,
Still no food,
No more water left,
Nothing
We see water everywhere,
We walk and try to get to the water,
But there's nothing,
This is how it is,
This is the end,
There is no hope
Because we will never find food,
We will never find water,
We will never find anything,
We will all die
Its easier to think you have a chance,
But you truth is that I
Will die
I drop to the ground,
Its so painful
I hear screams,
I know this is the end
