I thought I was
healed.
Time must have
bandaged my wounds
incorrectly
using weak
withering material
rather than the
sturdy, thick
cloth.
I must be too
delicate,
a fine china doll
to be handled with
vigilant
hands and
soft words to lessen the
chances of my
inevitable
shattering.
