Stomp! Stomp! Stomp!

To the tempo of 1,2,3, 1,2,3.

The melody of the breeze is her beat.
Those massive feet pound on the earth.
All little creatures watch in fear.

One missed step

Boom! She comes down.
Us ants run for the hills!
Stomp! Stomp! Stomp!
She begins again with the same tempo.
Little does she know who lives below.

Leerking in the grass

The anteater appears!
Our helpless screams fill the air.
The stomping ends
And she spots us in distress.

Stomp! Stomp!

The anteater is gone!
1,2,3 1,2,3 plays in our ears.
We come out of hiding
And all we see are the footprints
Of where the elephant use to be.
