The Thief
A quiet room, and a listening ear,
But there are darker spirits near.
Someone in a mask, an impenetrable slate.
Hide the belongings that the thief shall take.
The most unexpected person of all,
Becomes the suspect in which I saw.
A glare of hate, controlling my anger.
The stupidity of a person, but not the taker.
Nearing the end of my investigation.
I voice my opinions; a proclamation:
"Within the boy so many befriended,
Hides a thief, living undetected."

I witnessed a person I despise steal something from someone else in my school, what quickly followed was this poem. Enjoy.
