A Second Chance
Two years ago.
I didn't see the point of
eating,
going places,
loving,
caring,
trying,
or living.
One year ago.
Living was miserable.
Dying felt comfortable.
I wanted a way out.
Trying but never succeeding.
Hurting but never showing.
Gasping for air.
Grasping for life.
At this very moment
I'm alive.
Grasping on to the idea of
life.
That maybe I was given a
second
chance
to help
to love
to change something.
I was given a
chance to breath
to feel happiness.
Everything that was once black
faded into
white.
