self-destruction is a life vest
The ladders we built are not tall enough,
To get us out of the pits we dug for ourselves.
Together we face the world,
Together we tear ourselves apart.
Drunken rambles and falling to shambles,
Because the things that kept us alive,
Are the things that helped us fall,
Further from sanity.
We said “’till death do us part”
And treated it like a goal.
How fast could we ruin our lives?
How far could we go?
