I Am Chamorro
I embrace my chamorro culture
We have heart and will
fight with all our might.
Respecting the older and wiser,
Loving everyone older and younger
We don't have a limit.
We are strong and tough.
Whether we are small or big,
we will always try to win
Showing kindness to everyone we see.
Helping those who are family,
Although we consider everybody family.
Close friends, loved ones, godfathers, godmothers
and many more are all a part of our family.
We laugh, we comfort, we mourn, we cry, but
we will always keep moving on.
I am proud to be a part of this culture.
I love everyone and everything on this island.
I may not show it, but deep inside of me is
the love for my people and my family.
I love my culture and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

This is about my culture. It is how I see my culture. Many will disagree about it,but this is from my perspective not theirs.
