Band-Aids don't fix bullet holes

We can never take back the words once they leave our lips
Just like if you take a gun off your hip
you can't take back the bullets that fill me
once they leave clip
saying sorry won't fix my hurt feelings
putting a band-aid over a bullet hole won't make it hurt anyless
Incase you haven't notice
Band-aids don't fix bullet holes
Now we have problems and saying sorry won't slove them
But we're both warriors showing all our battle scars
we forgive we forget but we never let go
Remember band-aids don't fix bullet holes

I wrote this peace about me and my dad. We get in to really bad fights and often we say things that are really hurtful. We been fighting for a while now, and now he wont even talk to me.......and Iknow saying sorry won't fix how I made him feel
