did you opt for the pills,
when you were loved by
all of America?
Why
did you force each grin
in every shoot
just because we expected you to?
Why
did you hide behind blonde hair dye
and your red-lipstick pout
just to the destroy
the beauty that hadn’t been
corrupted yet?

I've always loved Marilyn Monroe movies, but her life is even more fascinating. This is just a tribute to an amazing woman c:
