Brown Eyes Look Good on You
The girls that have caught my eye in the past
Have eyes that can light up the room,
Turn heads, and keep the attention on them for hours on end.
But with you, I've noticed that brown, the color resembling the soil that cultivates this lavish land so perfectly, or the color of the coffee I didn't have this morning but now suddenly crave between my lips, is suddenly becoming my favorite color.
I never expected it.
But as the split second eye contact between us grew slightly longer, I found it difficult to look at any other woman but you.
You remind me of a rainbow, full of life, able to appear after dark times, beautiful. Incredibly beautiful.
But restless. In need of sleep.
How can such eyes capture all the attention I've been sharing on other blue eyed women?
I realize then that this woman is one of a kind.
