Broken Promises
Promises,
Constant promises they all make,
Most of which they'll break.
It'll be my mistake,
If I dont take
Every one of these lies as fake.
Hopes of what'll become,
Ever since I've been real young,
Have died as dreams of broken promises.
I've believed every promise sang,
But most of their deals are never done.
The "forgotten" promise is just a lie.
I dont ever know why,
I tend to tie
Into every dry,
Empty, sodden in lies,
Broken promise.
