What is that brown trunk, latched and lying on the ground?
And look– a pile of dust beside the table, spread out like someone’s ashes.
A little spooky.
Don’t those books smell old…
And the quiet draft, when the door opens, carries memories.
Comforting.
Those tall shelves in the light invite my hands, I think I’ll check it out.
