Wall Street Journal Love Poem
I’ve played through the injuries I’ve sustained.
I’ve practiced, I’ve played this game before.
This is worse than ever,
I’m a broken key.
I’m not trying to make a big deal out of this,
This crucial game must end.
I’m no rebound,
I expect to be your first selection.
But now retired,
I need to be me.
I’m broken,
I must emerge as a star.
I’ve grown tired of my injuries,
I’m stuck!
