The gift
You just walked away
Unfairly
Without looking back
And left alone
With these “if I was” thoughts
All spinning in my head
I was a painter
I’d paint your eyes
Full of hope
Faith and love
If was a musician
I’d only play your voice
If I was a sculptor
I’d repair your heart
Unbroken, like it used to be
If I was...
If I was...
No, I am just a dreamer
An unrevealed secret
An untold story
That will end so sadly...
I am just a dreamer girl
Whispering “if I was”
You gave me a broken heart
And I haven’t given anything yet
I’d be glad if you could carry
A little piece of my pain
I am nothing but a broken heart
All I can give you is
A piece of my misery
And my poems
I hope you like that I put
Too much tears inside of them
I hope you like that
They are too real
I hope you like that
They all are for you...
My gift for you is my poem
It’s quite simple but
I love you
Always had
Always will
