Am I insane?
Images dance in my head,
Strange knowingness encompasses me,
I don't see reality as others do.
It is rather an illusion,
Days blur together,
As my thoughts blend time together.
My body is always confused,
For it is never exposed to a given norm.
I am different.
What’s it like,
To live naive to this sense?
To live your life,
Without wondering if you even exist?
Is that what ‘sane’ means?
Do I want to be sane?
I look around,
Egotistical and arrogant we are.
So if everyone else is sane,
I’d rather be me.
