It's hard to be a saint in a sinner's body

They focus on the smile on my face.
Not the tears in my eyes.
They hear the laughter in my voice,
And ignore the pain behind my disguise.
My disguise, so see through it resembles glass.
Oh depression, you b****. What a pain in the a**.

They say they never knew,
That I seemed so happy and merry.
That the sky was so bright,
When in fact it was dreary.

You become loved by those who called you out of your name.
Your death, your sacrifice, put your tormentors to shame.
It's a shame that they care less about the people they hurt
And focus more on getting under some girls skirt.
They finally learned that words do kill.
A few harsh words can make precious blood spill.

They act as if they didn't know,
As if they were ignorant of their impact.
But they didn’t use their words for encouragement.
More like as an attack.

But the few that noticed, do you know what they say?
Stop overreacting, suck it up, carry on with your day.
How can you tell me that I am exaggerating?
With your useless words that are purely aggravating.

Keep your words to yourself
They are unwanted here.
And soon the world will get what it desires.
When I suddenly disappear.
