I haven't lost it all

A flush still creeps up the back of my neck

When you say words like "p****" or "d***"

Words I have been taught are "crass" or "vulgar"

Words I could never say as I still

Whisper to say "p****" or "v*****" aloud

Cringing to write it on paper where eyes could see

I haven't lost all of my integrity

I still turn my back when I undress

When you take off your jeans at night

Still hesitant to show my skin

Embarrassed to see the flesh of a man

My eyelashes still lower in shyness

I peer through them, watching your hands reach

A blush covers my cheeks

There's still a little girl in me
