The Unknown
She was someone
You'd sit with
On a worn down
Park Bench,
Drinking cold gas station coffee
As you listen to her
And think about why
Her voice was the one
You wanted to fall asleep to at 2 AM
But despite this
You never knew
That every night
She'd walk around
The base of the tree
In her backyard
Crying over the emptiness
That was settling in her bones
And you didn't know
That you could restore
The color in her eyes
And save her
From the top
Of the tree
By sitting with her
On a worn down park bench
And drinking cold
Gas station coffee
