Prayers
A warm breeze blowing,
prayer flags flowing.
they soar through the wind,
slowly unravel with time.
4,382 days to fray our insecurities and misjudgements.
4,382 days to unravel our hopes and dreams.
12 years, to grow into the people that we are meant to be.
as we stand in our cap and gowns,
of a continuous blue fabric,
our gowns become prayer flags.
today we are not morning nor sobbing,
But grateful for all that we have learned.
We wear these flags greatly,
A blanket of everlasting strength.
Each flag tells a story,
Our gowns symbolic of our glory.
We stand proudly today,
To sway into our futures. Embedded in our hearts,
love of the liberal arts school will forever stay true.
