Labyrinth
I am lost.
My life is a labyrinth
And I wander it,
No map,
No compass.
I take a left,
A sphinx Blocks the way.
"Answer this riddle of mine,
And you'll live another day."
Next I take a right,
An ending tunnel stands there,
Grinning at me,
Taunting.
I go back,
From which way have I come?
I am lost.
No map,
No compass.
Choices...
Where do I go?
Do I give up,
Should I cry?
Do I even try?
I trigger traps,
Pitfalls,
Riddles and tasks.
I make it through.
I am lost.
I haven't a map,
Or a compass to guide my way.
But my heart beats night and day.
And my brain learns as I go.
Life is a labyrinth.
We're all a little lost.
But...
We will all make it through.
