I'm Going Home
I’m on my way, far from home,
I saw a bird, fly through the gloam,
It’s wings were blue, icy gray
It’s eyes were cold as day
I think I know, how to say
I’m like that bird, I’ve gone astray
Waiting for a peaceful cry
To come call me home
I am strong, never alone
At this long last, I’m finally home
I can see now, faint but sure
Finally I am pure
