Turn Back the time
Anger and sympathy,
Emotions rush through me
Scared? Sad?
Did they feel that way?
I wish I could
Help them,
I wish I could
Turn back the time,
The past, present, future
Will it change?
When they were taken way
It was scars that were formed
Not wounds,
Wounds heal
Scars don’t
Children, innocent creatures
The traumas they faced
The tears they wept
Will there ever be just
To the ones taken away.
