Terms and Conditions
there are all sorts of people
and I think the best of those
are the ones who have more
books on their shelf
than channels on their television.
some people are as soft as water
and are like the sun,
they are at their highest point
of beauty when they rise.
there are people who are named
after seasons, and months.
I think of those people as
radios, sidewalk chalk, and sunbeams.
some people are very blue and forlorn.
i’d classify them as the tiny dew drops
on the grass, in the morning when
the sun is barely up.
the sort of people who talk about the
earth with such sympathy, it’s as if
they hear the stories it’s telling
when no one else is listening.
and sadly there will be people who
will make you feel less than the way
you felt when you first learned how
to ride a bicycle or tie your shoe.
in life you will meet those sort of people
some splendid, some lousy, some you’ll regret
meeting, but never, ever, forget you’re in charge
of the sort of person you are.

There are all sorts of people you meet in your lifetime, I wrote this just to remind you that you're in charge of you're self. (A reminder we ALL need at some point)
