Safe and Sound
to properly execute the tightness in your chest,
where your heart causes you to believe that it is
closing in. when emotional and mental distress
feels so physical. you should hold in your breath
for 60 seconds. it’ll make your muscles less tense.
this is a valuable thing to know.
holding in your breath won’t make you feel better but
it will make you feel something else other than pain.
(probably you won’t think about things for awhile)
people say that if you fall in love with someone
all your problems will magically go away. this is not
true. others can’t wipe your sadness away. others
can’t take the pain away.
but
you can take the pain away, you can wipe the
sadness away. maybe you’ll need help along the
way and that’s okay. we all need help.
plant a garden on yourself and don’t forget to water it.
remember you are not a plastic glow-in-the-dark star
stuck on someones ceiling, you are the sun in the sky.
remember you are not alone.
you are not alone.
you are
not alone.
save yourself; don’t wait on anyone.
