Damp woods
There I stood, airy as I waited for the rain
Just these knees, this grey air and a musty wooden smell
No weight, spine just teasing, sweaty cloth sticking, then like flakes of chocolate peeling off the engravements, bouncing on and off the spiral oak patterns, light of foot- waiting, not leaning, never leaning.
That was when I heard, drizzle of sounds falling on blades of grass like droplets of tea dripping down a porcelain cup
I don't know what I'm saying, and I dont know what I've said, but water is pouring, gushing over my head.
