Snow covered the grass,
Deep holes show my tracks
skin burns from a sudden cold blast.
Loud laughter drowns my screech.
I finally crouch behind a tree.
My hands numbing to make my ammo
I glance.
Duck.
Prepare to launch.
Jump up
and throw.
the ball shatters into a million snowflakes,
showering his clothes with white dust.
I smile.
My brother screeches
as he feels his defeat.
